Character rules

Races

Humans

Humans have no extra supernatural powers or abilities, as such; normal attempts of killing them are almost definite. Humans get a few free items at the start, but gain no supernatural enhancements. As well as choosing to be a human, one must choose whether He/She will be a Fighter, Medic or Engineer, and they then choose which field of these they want to specialize in. For example, if one chooses to be a Fighter, they then have to choose whether to be a Sniper, Gunner or Assault, each having their own advantages and disadvantages.
Starter items (for ALL Humans):

• Choice of one pistol (with 2x cases each loaded with 250 bullets) and a katana or an SMG
(with 4x cases each loaded with 250 bullets) and 1x grenade
• GREEN non-combat flare gun with 10 rounds for signalling help
• 1 free Zombie antidote
• 1 hidden survival knife

Zombies

Zombies can only use ordinary tools they find loose in the RP (household items, fire extinguishers, bats...etc. BUT NOT WEAPONS). They are immortal to non-catastrophic attacks, such as being stabbed through the heart, being shot continuously anywhere else but the head and amputation to limbs (these things won't kill it). To kill a Zombie; shoot it 5 times in the head (twice with a sniper gun), decapitate its head, blow it up to pieces or burn them to ashes. Zombies cannot own any items/weapons!

Mutants

Mutants are completely different to zombies: they are LIVE test subjects gone wrong, whereas Zombies are revived DEAD subjects. Mutants either have super strength, super speed or telepathy. PLOT mutants can be given extra abilities, ONLY BY ADMINS. Winged Mutants can fly and mutants with gills can stay underwater for a whole thread without needing air. Mutants, such as wolves, can have abnormal body features, such as long, razor sharp claws, extra large canine teeth, longer necks, extra limbs, but generally either have enhanced strength, speed or the power to read minds. If a mutant chooses telepathy as their ability: they can read ONE PERSON’S MIND AT TIME for whatever period of time they want, but can ONLY read minds and nothing more. Mutants are also immune to any zombie bites (can never turn into zombies).

Expertise
*Note!: only Humans can have expertise*

Fighters
Self explanatroy: these people do all the harm.

Fields:

  • Assault - Generally, people who use SMG's, AK-47's and other light weight hand guns and weapons are categorised under Assault. They can also use Katanas, Swords, Bats etc., but may not use any heavy weight weapons, such as: Rocket Launchers, Chainsaws, Mini-guns, sentry guns etc. Assualt people are generally put at the front lines and can handle all the action. They are incredibly faster than any other specs and their endurance is exceptional. People with Assault can also choose a second field from the Engineers spec (Weapons or Items).

  • Sniper - These people have exceptional eyesight and their aiming is phenomenal. They can shoot targets from a great distance away and almost never miss. They generally use throwing knives and long-ranged weapons such as: Sniper riffles, Barret 50-cal's, Long bows and arows etc.
    Snipers can kill zombies (given they use a weapon built for sniping) with two shots to the head.

  • Tanks - These people use heavy weapons such as rocket launchers, machine guns, turrets, chainsaws, miniguns, sentry guns and are the only people that can drive a tank. Their aiming isn't as good and usually, becuase their weapons take longer to reload, stay at the back, rather than upfront, but they certainly do the most damage. Tanks can kill zombies (given they use a weapon built for tanks) with one shot. Exorcists can also sense when a LIVING thing is nearby, within a radius of 20m. Tanks can also have a second field from the Engineers spec (Vehicles).


Medics
Medics deal with injuries caused in battle and anywhere else.

Fields:

  • Surgeon- These people deal with serious injuries, such as replacing a missing limb with a prosthetic limb, doing brain surgery (character must be over the age of 40 for this) and any other serious injury that require more than a first aid kit. These people can defend themselves with tools such as swords, knives and pistols, but that is about it. They can't use any other weapons.

  • Nurse- These people can still help you out if you're missing a chunk of flesh from your leg or your leg has been cut off, but that's about as much they can do. They can't do surgery, but can use more weapons than surgeons. They can use swords, knives, pistols AND light weight guns such as AK-7, SMG's and shotguns, but they can't use snipers or any heavy artillery.

  • Exorcist- These medics deal with any harm caused mentally: such as paranoia, mass hypnosis and brain washing. They do not deal with physical damages, but can pick a second field from the fighter specs (either Assault or Sniper) but cannot pick Tank.

Engineers
Engineers are the only people that can design and create NEW gadgets/items/weapons

Fields:

  • Weapons - These engineers specialize in designing and making brand new weapons. These people can also get Assault from the Fighters Spec.

  • Items - These engineers specialize in making new items/gadgets and traps. These people can also get Assault from the Fighters Spec.

  • Vehicles - Pimp My ride: These engineers specialize in making/modifying new vehicles and as such, get ONE free, two wheeled vehicle to start with (Scooter or Motorbike).
